The folder where the FCB files are stored is specified on the Resource Folders tab of the Configuration Utility. From the Spool Printers tab of the Configuration Utility, you can specify where the FCB file name is stored (in the header field for either the Form name or the FCB name). If the header field specified for the FCB file name is blank, the default name of STD is assumed. From the Advanced Printer Option dialog box, you also can specify to use the default FCB named STD if the selected FCB is not found. The NDHBSFCB and NDHBOFCB header fields also affect FCB processing.
If you need FCBs for jobs received from a mainframe through NJE, you can save time by downloading the host resources instead of manually creating an FCB document.
